A side note...we drove through the McDonald's in Oahu yesterday...the Valkenburg store. The egg McMuffin was the best like homemade. McDonald's in keaau needs to go there and get a cooking lesson or three.
We ordered egg McMuffin a mcgriddle sandwich and a sausage burrito. The mcgriddle was soggy on the bread..too long sitting in their hopper. The egg McMuffin was not fresh either which leads us to the sausage burrito. My husband examined it and it was obvious that it too had been sitting after being cooked way earlier.hard o the ends and I edible. Ugh. One shining moment ...the coffee was excellent.
I got a happy meal for my daughter, nice toy, not enough french frys, she liked the toy, there burgers are ok...but the hamburger is very dry and could pass as cardboard at times, the taste is good so I try to ingnore the taste of the burger itself...i wouldn't recommend eating here all the time, only once in a while for a treat or when your on the go! They need to improve their hamburger patties!!!!!!!!!

If I could give a zero rating I would. Marginal to sub par food(euphemism) at best. WAY overpriced especially in Hawaii. Doubled the price of coffee overnight with the $1 sign still hanging in the window. Bye bye for good...
It's under renovation at this time. The drive thru us open. They are always busy but it's fast.
As for Keaau,Hawaii's McDonal's ,they are friendly fast and give there best... Kudos to them!

Drove to keaau from hpp this am looking forward to a nice delicious McDonald's breakfast. Service was friendly as it usually is and since it was early early the line was only three cars deep.
