Great experience here. They seemed honest and trustworthy. It ended up costing 100 bucks less than the original quote so that was nice.
I took it for a safety inspection today but it would not pass because the airbag light was on.. I was told to take it to Hilo to the only mechanic who serviced foreign cars, but I already knew better than that - I went back to Curlees. They took me on the spot, did a diagnostic test and turned the light off. My check engine light had been on as well and they turned that one off too! The cost was negligible. Thanks to them, I got my vehicle to pass inspection so I could get it registered, all within 2 hours time.

I got great service at Curlee's. The first time was by appointment to have a radiator installed that I supplied. They drove me home to wait and picked me up when done. The price and timeliness was very reasonable.
Curlee's is a local, family owned and operated auto repair shop. The service is fast and friendly, they're always there and very respectful and courteous. My car was fixed and old parts were shown to me, I was impressed. Unfortunately Curlee, himself recently passed away but rest assured his son continues his business in the same tradition... would highly recommend to anyone..
More than happy with the service. Great, HONEST, people. Had a check engine light come on they only charged me $30 to diagnose and turn off. They also answered questions on a few little small things that I could fix myself. They did not have to do that they could have made it sound complicated just to get my money.
