We are a family of 2 with a young toddler and this was exactly what we were looking for - staying in countryside, surrounded only by nature, while having an access to the animals. They are very friendly and our daughter immediately fell in love with all of them (donkey, goat, dog, ducks, rabbits, cat, guinea pigs). Sherri is such a pleasant person and was really kind to us the entire time. The accommodation itself is very cozy, everything was clean and nicely furnished. The property is very large and you are free to roam through the gardens as much as you want. I was expecting the frogs or rain to be noisy but actually had no issue with sleeping whatsoever. No, there's no TV but I know of better things to do during my vacation. The WiFi was stable and fast.
A wonderful and relaxing experience. Good location to access the lava flow into the ocean. Also close to the warm ponds and 40 minutes from volcano national park. Close to good food.
This is a great place to stay in the rainforest, especially for nature & animal lovers! Nice hot shower. Very relaxing place to stay. Comfortable bed. 3 acres that you can explore, with a macadamia nut orchard at the back of the property. No TV, but who needs a TV, we just watched shows/movies on our mobile devices. Good WiFi. Happy! We will stay here again.
If I had a chance to go to the Big Island again, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here, this place is truly enchanted.
